UK’s largest Garden Centre chain selects Ring2 Conferencing - press release
Posted: Tuesday, April 15, 2008
LONDON – April 15th 2008 – Ring2 Conferencing, the world’s first audio-conferencing company to offer remote control of calls from a mobile device, announced today that Wyevale Garden Centres, the UK’s largest chain of Garden Centres with over 100 locations nationwide, has selected Ring2 as its audio-conferencing provider for its innovative Web interface to seamlessly schedule and manage conference calls for its weekly management calls.
Managers at Wyevale now use Ring2’s online account area to: set up and schedule calls quickly and easily; manage live calls in real-time for enhanced visibility, security and control; and access to call recordings on demand.
“Ring2’s web-based monitoring and control interface saves time and is making our conference calls much more efficient,” said Peter Brigden, Retail Director, Wyevale. “The service also fits perfectly with our ‘Going Green’ campaign, encouraging our employees to conference call rather than travel to a meeting. An additional benefit is we’re now saving 25% from our previous supplier.”
Ring2 Conferencing’s online account area for its audio-conferencing service – as well as its unique call management capabilities for BlackBerry® and Windows Mobile – is designed to simplify and professionalize the process of arranging, scheduling and controlling conference calls company-wide. Users and personal assistants are able to:
- Send Outlook e-mail and calendar invitations already populated with the dial-in details of a conference
- Create additional conferences with new access codes, instantaneously on demand
- Manage call scheduling on behalf of other users
- Monitor and control participants on a live call to overcome visibility, security and control challenges familiar to frequent conference callers
- Assign billing codes to call for client disbursement or accounting purposes
- Record the call for retrieval as an MP3 file
